Download Options

There are three download options to choose from.  The first two options are  for new users who have not yet installed TCOYF.  The third option is exclusively for users who have already downloaded and installed TCOYF and want to update to the latest version.

1. Taking Charge of Your Fertility Software -- Single file download (8 MB, approx. 30 minute download at 56 kbps) -- This is the full Taking Charge of Your Fertility Software installation file. If you have Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, you should not need to download anything other than this file. If you are using Windows 95, 98, or NT, then you may need to download and install Microsoft Data Access Components ("MDAC"). After installing TCOYF, this installation program will scan your system for MDAC and direct you to a download page if these additional components are needed. When you click the link your browser will ask you what to do with the file -- tell it to Run (or Open) it when the download is complete and the installation will start automatically.  If your browser has this option disabled, then simply select Save and when the download is complete, click the Open button.  If you get a message that says "Authenticode signature not found," just disregard it.

2. Taking Charge of Your Fertility Software -- Multiple file download (8 MB, broken into 6 pieces which are approximately 1.4 MB each; approx. 30 minute download at 56 kbps) -- This is the full Taking Charge of Your Fertility Software installation file broken into 6 pieces, each of which is small enough to fit on a 1.44 MB diskette. This is the same installation program as found in option 1 above, except that it's been broken into smaller pieces to make it easier to download.  To download these pieces, click each link below, and Save each file to your computer.  After each file is saved, you must Run (or Open) the files as they must extract installation files to a temporary directory on your computer.  When the last file is downloaded and opened, it will launch the TCOYF installation program.

Temporarily unavailable

You can also use this method to copy the TCOYF installation to diskettes so that it may be transferred to a computer that doesn't have Internet access.

3. TCOYF Update Only (3 MB, 8 minutes at 56 kbps) -- This file installs the latest release of TCOYF on PCs which already have it running.  If you have not yet downloaded and installed TCOYF, you cannot use this option and should choose option 1 above.  When you click the link, your browser will ask you what to do with the file -- tell it to Run (or Open) it when the download is complete and the installation will start automatically.  If you get a message that says "Authenticode signature not found," just disregard it.
